Catering Guidelines

  • Catering Guidelines:

  • 1.     All food must be Cholov Yisroel, Pas Yisroel and Glatt Kosher. Wine must be Kosher Mevushal. Caterer must have a valid Hechser

    2.     The kitchen at Chabad is strictly a meat kitchen and there will be one oven available for warming up food.

    3.     All food, linens, serving pieces, flowers, decorations and anything else used on Shabbat must be delivered prior to the beginning of Shabbat on Friday.

    4.     Access to the building is available Monday – Thursday from 10:00am – 4:00pm.  If you need access outside of these times please call the office to make special arrangements

    5.     The Caterer is responsible for providing Chabad a diagram of how the tables are to be set up no later than 3 days prior to the event.

    6.     Caterer is responsible for cleaning off the tables and taking the garbage to the dumpster outside of the kitchen after the event.

    7.     Caterer is responsible for leaving the kitchen in the same condition as when they arrived.

    8.     All accessories, supplies, centerpieces, etc., must be removed from Chabad no longer than the day following the event unless otherwise stated.

    9.     Caterer is required to provide the menu to Chabad one week prior to the event.
